Behavioural Services

The Beta Dogs Method was developed over 14 years by studying and blending some of the best elements from a number of renowned behaviourists and authors. From this I created my own unique programme and Beta Dogs was launched to clients in 2020.

Since then, myself and my team of trained behaviourists have now supported over 1000 clients across the South of England. From Labradors with agoraphobia to Bulldogs desperate for a fight the Beta Dogs team have seen it all and would love to use our expertise to help you too.

Initial Consultation

Our behavioural services all begin with an initial consultation meeting.

We will sit down with you, listen to your thoughts, issues and concerns. Your household, family and dog are all taken into consideration.

We will examine your owner/dog relationship to ensure the plan is customised to fit your exact situation.

Contact Report

After the initial consultation you will receive a detailed contact report summarising our discussion and giving a clear plan of recommendations.

These will cover everything from training and exercise to food, feeding and play. All the tools you need to train your dog effectively.

This holistic and customised approach will give you the best possible chance to establish long-term, positive changes in behaviour.

After Care

After the initial consultation you will receive a further 4-5 x 1 hour sessions to be taken over the course of 6 weeks. These will support you to embed the programme.

Depending on our recommendations these can be taken at home or an off/on lead walk in an appropriate external environment.

We have a secure field near Beaconsfield and use of trained helper dogs if required to support further.

£350 for the 6 week Beta Dogs programme

This includes

2-3 hour initial consultation in your home
Detailed contact report
4/5 follow up sessions (1 hour duration)
Regular contact with your behaviourist as required throughout the programme

Training, training, training

All Beta Dog practitioners have a diploma in canine behaviour and psychology. We are all equally qualified in dog training and generally specialise in another area of behaviour such as aggression or anxiety .
